Gold-Silver Price Today: Stock Market Rises, Precious Metals Slip

The Indian stock market opened the week on a positive note, while gold and silver prices registered a decline. On Monday, the benchmark Sensex was trading at 81,548.30, up by 241 points, but the shine of gold and silver dimmed in the bullion market.

Gold Prices

  • According to bullions.co.in, gold prices fell by Rs 50.

  • Standard 10 grams of gold is trading at Rs 100,600.

  • In Delhi, 10 grams of gold is priced at Rs 100,240, down by Rs 50.

Silver Prices

  • Silver dropped by Rs 230 per kg, slipping to Rs 116,360 in many markets.

  • In Delhi, silver fell by Rs 260 per kg.

City-wise Prices

  • Mumbai: 10 grams of gold at Rs 100,410 (down Rs 50); silver also fell by Rs 230.

  • Lucknow: 24-carat 10 grams of gold at Rs 100,410 (down Rs 80); silver at Rs 116,360 per kg.

Futures Market (MCX) Update

  • Gold (October 3, 2025 contract): Rs 100,303 per 10 grams, down Rs 81.

  • Silver (September 5, 2025 contract): Rs 226 per kg lower.
