International Market Conditions
Precious metals are also experiencing a slowdown in the international market. On October 28, gold fell 0.36% to trade at $4,059.90 per ounce on Comex. Silver also declined 0.54% to trade at $54.22 per ounce.
The impact of the fall in domestic and MCX markets
and the trend of international markets is clearly visible on the Indian markets as well:
Gold: On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for December delivery is trading lower by Rs 515 at ₹1,43,623 per 10 grams. In the domestic market, 24-carat gold is trading around ₹1,44,060 per 10 grams, 22-carat gold at ₹1,32,055 per 10 grams, and 18-carat gold at around ₹1,08,045 per 10 grams.
Silver : Silver prices also saw significant relief. Silver fell by ₹1,000 to ₹1,95,770 per kilogram on the MCX exchange, while the average price in the bullion market was around ₹1,96,440 per kilogram.
