Fuel Prices Today: Petrol, Diesel & CNG Rates Remain Unchanged on June 20; Check City-Wise Prices
Petrol, diesel, and CNG prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Fuel rates continue to be reviewed daily by oil marketing companies (OMCs) and gas distribution firms, with updates announced every morning at 6 AM.
Despite recent stability, petrol and diesel prices have increased by nearly ₹7.50 per litre in recent months due to elevated global crude oil prices triggered by geopolitical tensions in West Asia.
Crude Oil Prices Ease After Peace Agreement
Global crude oil prices have cooled and are now nearing the pre-conflict level of around $75 per barrel. The decline follows reports that the United States and Iran have signed an interim peace agreement, easing concerns over supply disruptions and helping stabilize energy markets worldwide.
Government Raises Export Duty on Diesel and ATF
In its latest fortnightly review, the government increased export duties on diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF), while keeping the levy on petrol exports unchanged.

Diesel export duty increased from ₹13.50 to ₹14 per litre.

ATF export duty rose from ₹9.50 to ₹12.50 per litre.

LPG Prices Increased Earlier This Month
Domestic LPG cylinder prices were raised by ₹29 from June 7, marking the second increase in the last three months. A standard 14.2-kg LPG cylinder in Delhi now costs ₹942, compared to ₹913 earlier.
Commercial LPG cylinder prices also saw a hike from June 1, with a 19-kg cylinder in Delhi now priced at ₹3,113.50 after a ₹42 increase.
CNG and PNG Rates Also Witnessed Hikes
CNG prices in Mumbai were recently increased by ₹2 per kg, taking the rate to ₹86 per kg. Domestic PNG prices were also revised upward by 50 paise to ₹52 per standard cubic metre (SCM).

Hyderabad Records Highest Petrol Price
Among major cities, Hyderabad continues to have the highest petrol price at ₹115.69 per litre, closely followed by Thiruvananthapuram at ₹115.49 per litre.
For diesel, Thiruvananthapuram tops the list with a retail price of ₹104.40 per litre, making it the costliest city for diesel consumers in the country.
