Background and Demand
So far, only two trains—Punjab Mail and Patalkot Express—served the Firozpur–Nanded route. Due to increasing demand, Railways decided to introduce this new weekly express to ease passenger load and improve long-distance connectivity.
This addition reflects Indian Railways' ongoing efforts to enhance passenger convenience and strengthen inter-state travel infrastructure, especially between North and Central India.
