Several high-profile firing incidents have shaken the Bollywood and entertainment industry recently, with Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s house in Bareilly being the latest target. Early Friday morning, unknown assailants fired 10-12 rounds outside Disha Patani's family home, creating a wave of shock and fear. The firing was reportedly carried out around 4:30 am by two men on a motorcycle. The Rohit Godara and Goldie Brar gang claimed responsibility for the attack, citing alleged disrespectful comments by Disha’s sister towards revered saints as the motive. At the time, family members including Disha's retired DSP father Jagdish Patani and sister Khushboo were present, but no one was injured. Police have launched a thorough investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and ensuring heightened security for the family.

Disha Patani is not alone in facing such violent incidents. Superstar Salman Khan’s residence was attacked in April 2024, when miscreants on bikes fired several rounds near his Galaxy Apartments. Bullet marks were found on his balcony, and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility. Police apprehended the shooter from Gujarat, and Salman’s security was tightened thereafter.

Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav also faced similar violence when gunmen fired approximately a dozen rounds at his Gurugram home in August 2025. While Elvish was not at home during the attack, the incident alarmed his family and followers. Police continue to investigate, with witnesses reporting 24-25 bullets fired.

Even comedian Kapil Sharma experienced threats when his newly opened cafe in Canada was targeted with gunfire twice in rapid succession. The police are actively probing these attacks, which have raised concerns about the safety of celebrities both in India and abroad.

Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s residence in Canada was also subjected to gunfire last year, with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s Rohit Godara taking responsibility, linking the attack to Dhillon’s association with Salman Khan.

These incidents reveal an alarming pattern of violence against public figures, often linked to gang rivalries and controversial allegations, prompting heightened security measures and ongoing investigations.
