Through this channel, information regarding PF, pension services, various schemes, and important updates announced by the organization will now be available directly on their mobile phones. This will make it easier for members to stay informed about the latest developments related to the EPFO.

on August 19, 2025. In September 2026, the channel surpassed the milestone of 100,000 followers. The EPFO ​​announced this in a social media post, thanking members for their trust.

There are two easy options to join the EPFO ​​channel.

First option: Go to the link of the official EPFO ​​channel on WhatsApp and click on the follow option.

What information will you get on this channel?

Important updates from the EPFO, including information related to EPF and pension services, schemes, and important announcements, will be available on this WhatsApp channel. However, tasks such as PF balance checks, regular account-related services, or PF withdrawals cannot be performed on this WhatsApp channel. For these, you must use the EPFO's official portal or the UMANG App. Furthermore, complaints must be made through the relevant EPFO ​​office or the official helpline.

Simply put, the main purpose of the WhatsApp channel is to provide easy access to information and updates; only the official EPFO ​​service platform should be used to conduct account-related transactions.
