The second half of 2025 is turning into a treat for movie buffs. With big-ticket films lining up, the spotlight right now is on Ranveer Singh’s upcoming thriller Dhurandhar. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has already raised expectations with its teaser, and now a leaked behind-the-scenes video from Ladakh has set social media buzzing.
Clash of the Titans
The viral clip captures a high-voltage action sequence between Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna. Shot against the stunning backdrop of Ladakh, the scene features Ranveer in kurta-pyjama, delivering raw hand-to-hand combat, while Khanna appears in an intense all-black avatar, exuding menace. Their dramatic face-off is already being hailed as the “battle of stalwarts.”
Adding to the scale, the video teases high-octane chases with SUVs, bikes, and even a helicopter stunt—hinting at the kind of cinematic spectacle audiences can expect in theatres.
A Power-Packed Cast
While Ranveer and Akshaye’s confrontation is the highlight of the leaked footage, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun. Another brief glimpse showed Ranveer sharing a romantic moment with Sara, suggesting that the film will balance adrenaline-pumping action with emotional depth.
A Spy Thriller With a Twist
Although the makers have kept details under wraps, Dhurandhar is reportedly inspired by the life of an Indian spy and a former National Security Advisor, adding political intrigue to its action-heavy narrative. The combination of Aditya Dhar’s vision and this heavyweight cast promises a gripping cinematic experience.
Salman Khan in Ladakh Too
Interestingly, while Dhurandhar gears up for its December 5 theatrical release, Salman Khan has also reached Ladakh for the shoot of his much-anticipated Battle of Galwan. With both projects rolling in the same terrain, Ladakh is suddenly the epicenter of Bollywood’s biggest action spectacles.
