Creta–Seltos Rival Gets a Makeover: Skoda Kushaq Facelift Unveiled, Bookings Open

Skoda Auto India has unveiled the facelifted Skoda Kushaq, aiming to turn up the heat in the crowded midsize SUV segment dominated by the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The updated SUV brings noticeable design tweaks, a longer features list, and added tech—while retaining the same engines and hardware. Pre-bookings are now open, with the launch slated for March.

Skoda has also introduced a new Monte Carlo top-spec variant focused on sportier styling. Buyers get a complimentary 4-year Super Care warranty, extendable to 6 years.


What’s New on the Outside?

The Kushaq facelift sharpens its road presence with:

  • LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, and LED taillamps now standard

  • Sequential rear turn indicators

  • Illuminated grille light band and lit Skoda lettering/logo on top trims

  • Alloy wheels standard across the range

The overall silhouette remains familiar, but the lighting and detailing add a more premium, modern look.

  • 1.0L TSI turbo-petrol: 113 bhp, 178 Nm

  • 1.5L TSI turbo-petrol: 148 bhp, 250 Nm

  • Gearboxes: 8-speed torque converter (new) and 7-speed DSG (engine-dependent)

  • Platform: MQB-A0-IN

  • All-wheel disc brakes now offered on 1.5L variants
