Gurugram, July 29: A disturbing video is shocking people on the internet, which is said to be from Sector 37 in Gurugram. The video shows a labourer being brutally beaten by four men after hanging him upside down in an undisclosed basement. The incident is said to be from June 2025, but the video went viral on July 28. As soon as the video went viral on the internet, the Gurugram police started investigating. Netizens claim that the man being beaten in the video is a migrant labourer and is being assaulted by his contractor. It is also claimed that the man tried to complain about the accused, but was kidnapped due to political pressure. However, we cannot verify the video and the claims. According to sources, the contractor claims to be close to a Union minister from Haryana and his wife is said to be a High Court lawyer. He was constantly threatening the victim and trying to suppress the case.

Soon after the video went viral, the Gurugram police took suo motu cognizance of the matter and registered an FIR against unknown people. Later, 4 people were arrested. However, the police have not revealed their identity. The police have said that on July 28, 2025, a video surfaced on social media in which some people were beating a person. The police have not received any complaint in this regard yet, nor has any victim come in contact with the police.
