The airline made it clear that flights operated by Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft are being temporarily cut, which will be effective from June 21 and will continue till at least July 15. Air India said that this decision has been taken due to two major reasons. First, voluntary advanced pre-flight security checks on these aircraft, and second, an increase in the duration of flights due to airspace closure in the Middle East region. Air India aims to stabilize the flight schedule and save passengers from last-minute inconvenience.
