At 15, Vaibhav Suryavanshi Eyes Big Milestones with 15 Major Challenges Ahead

Bihar’s rising cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi celebrated his 15th birthday on March 27, marking a significant milestone in what is already shaping up to be a promising career. With IPL 2026 on the horizon and growing expectations around his potential, the young batter now faces a series of ambitious challenges as he aims to make his mark on the biggest stages.

Having already impressed at the junior level, Vaibhav’s immediate goal will be to help Rajasthan Royals clinch their second IPL title, ending a long wait since their 2008 triumph. At the same time, he has set his sights on rewriting record books, including Chris Gayle’s iconic 175-run T20 innings and the record for most sixes in an IPL match.

A strong IPL season could also fast-track his dream of making his Team India debut at a remarkably young age. Beyond that, he will aim to achieve milestones such as scoring a double century in youth or domestic cricket and challenging the record for the fastest ODI hundred, currently held by AB de Villiers.

Known for his explosive batting, Vaibhav is also targeting records for most sixes in an IPL season, fastest IPL century, and even the rare feat of hitting six sixes in an over. Additionally, he will look to complete 100 IPL sixes, win the Orange Cap, and become the highest run-scoring teenager in the league’s history.

The young prodigy is also chasing consistency-based records, including most centuries and most 50-plus scores in a single IPL season—benchmarks set by Virat Kohli. Another goal on his radar is winning the most Player of the Match awards in a season.

While these targets are highly ambitious, they reflect Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s fearless mindset and hunger for success. As he steps into IPL 2026, all eyes will be on the 15-year-old to see how many of these challenges he can turn into achievements.
