The United States has deported 200 Indians. Those deported include gangster Anmol Bishnoi and two wanted individuals from Punjab, along with 197 illegal immigrants. The flight has taken off from the United States and will arrive at Delhi's IGI Airport tomorrow at 10 a.m. This action is part of the Trump administration's strict immigration policies. Previously, the United States deported over 200 Indians in February.
All these people landed in Amritsar and were then sent home by buses. Most of them were from Punjab. They were deported for illegally entering the US or overstaying their visas. They were accused of using the "donkey route," or illegal entry via Canada.
Hundreds of Indians have been deported so far
In fact, Trump launched a campaign to deport illegal immigrants as part of his election promise. Hundreds of Indians have been deported between January and May 2025. The Indian government announced its cooperation in the deportation campaign, but insisted on verification. Prime Minister Modi stated in February of this year that he was ready to take back those living illegally.
Gangster Anmol is being brought to India
The United States has deported gangster Anmol Bishnoi. He is being brought to India from the US. Anmol is the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Anmol is accused in the Baba Siddiqui and Sidhu Moosewala murder cases. He is also accused of plotting an attack on Salman Khan's house. Several cases are registered against Anmol across the country. This action is the result of a joint effort by central agencies and the Delhi Police Crime Branch. Anmol Bishnoi's return to India is being seen as a major step against the international gangster network.
