A shocking and disturbing incident has surfaced from Aligarh, where a young man allegedly murdered his girlfriend and later died by suicide by jumping in front of a train. The case has created panic and anger in the local area, and police along with forensic teams have launched a detailed investigation.

The incident is reported to have occurred across the jurisdictions of Akrabad and Gandhi Park police stations.

Two Bodies Found in Separate Locations

According to police sources, the body of a young woman was discovered in suspicious circumstances in an abandoned ruin near Nagla Pusa village in the Akrabad area. Shortly afterward, the body of a young man was found on the Bhadesi Pala railway tracks in the Gandhi Park area.

The deceased man was identified as Shashi Kapoor, who was reportedly the woman’s boyfriend. Police said he died after allegedly jumping in front of a moving train.

Family Alleges Rape and Murder

The woman’s family has made serious allegations against the accused. According to them, the girl’s body was found in a naked condition inside the ruins with torn clothes. They also claimed that a cloth had been stuffed into her mouth to stop her from shouting.

Family members alleged that she was sexually assaulted and brutally strangled to death. Authorities have said that the exact cause of death and confirmation of any sexual assault will be determined only after the post-mortem report.

Video Message Before Suicide

Before taking his own life, the accused reportedly left behind a crucial piece of digital evidence. Police sources say he recorded a video shortly before going to the railway tracks, ending the recording with the words “The End.”

According to the girl’s father and investigators, the young man also called his brother before his death and allegedly confessed that he had killed the girl and was going to commit suicide.

Police and Forensic Investigation Underway

After receiving the information, senior officers along with a forensic science team reached both locations to collect evidence. Fingerprints and other physical clues have been gathered from the ruins as well as the railway tracks.

Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, which will clarify the exact cause of death and whether sexual assault took place.

Earlier Complaint Filed by Family

According to DSP Kamlesh Kumar, the girl’s family had lodged a complaint at Akrabad police station a day earlier, accusing their neighbor Shashi Kapoor of luring the girl away.

Police said the accused later died by suicide in the Gandhi Park area after allegedly informing his brother about the incident over the phone.
