Agastya Nanda is all set to make his big-screen debut with the war biopic "Ikkis," which tells the inspiring story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films.
The makers recently unveiled the first look poster of Agastya Nanda as Arun Khetarpal, showing him in a battlefield stance reminiscent of the brave young officer. They announced the film will release in theaters in December 2025, though the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
"Ikkis" pays tribute to the valor of Arun Khetarpal, who lost his life heroically during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971 at the age of 21. Alongside Agastya, the film features a stellar supporting cast, including Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikandar Kher.
This film marks Agastya Nanda’s second acting venture after his debut in the Netflix film "The Archies" in 2023. The director has shared that "Ikkis" is an emotional and powerful story that deeply resonates with him. The movie is anticipated with great excitement as a tribute to one of India’s most courageous war heroes.
