One such case has come to light where a man, claiming to be a tantrik, not only defrauded a woman of lakhs of rupees under the guise of performing rituals, but also committed adultery. However, when the entire matter came to light, the Rajasthan police arrested him.

What is the police saying?
According to media reports, while giving information about the case, the police said that the accused Sukhveer alias Surendra is originally a resident of Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. He tried to carry out this incident in a very cunning manner, however his entire plan did not succeed and he was caught. The police say that the accused called himself a tantrik and then kept scaring the woman in the name of ghosts. However, when the victim complained about him in the Mehandipur Balaji police station of Dausa district, an investigation into the matter was started. Taking action on the case, the police have arrested the accused.

According to reports, the woman
said that the accused claimed to be a witch doctor and claimed she was possessed by a ghost. Furthermore, he also told her that the ghost wanted to have sex with her. To overcome this problem, he would take her to Haridwar, Mehandipur Balaji, and Ujjain, pretending to perform pujas. During these visits, he would book hotel rooms and rape her. The victim says she began to understand the entire scheme, but endured it out of fear of being disgraced. However, she later gathered courage and filed a police complaint. The accused was so cunning that he would frequently change his phone number and location to evade police. However, the police formed a special team and arrested him in Makhanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
