Beating cancer, she climbed Mount Everest

Cancer has become one of the most serious diseases today. People are terrified just by hearing its name. It not only weakens the patient physically, but also affects them mentally and financially. But if one has the will to live and gets timely treatment, defeating it is no big deal. Such is the story of Munner Kaiser, a resident of Visakhapatnam, who was eluded by death even when it came close. She defeated breast cancer and successfully climbed Mount Everest in 2025.

Munni Kaiser was named the best cancer detective in 2027.

Munni Kaiser was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2027. She explained in an interview that both her parents were doctors. She had a small lump in her breast since childhood. But their parents used to say, "It won't grow, don't worry," so she never paid much attention to it. But that lump turned into cancer. The entire family was worried about what would happen next. But she didn't give up.

The idea came while watching TV.

Munni Kaiser said, "One day, while watching TV, I saw a documentary on Everest trekking. It intrigued me, so I thought, 'Why not try it myself?' I asked my doctors, and I agreed to go. But my family said, 'Why are you risking your health at 56?' But I was determined to go. The doctors said I would be ready in two years, so I started preparing."

October 20, 2025 was memorable

Munni Kaisar said that after five months of hard work, she successfully climbed the 12,000-foot-high Dayara Bugyal mountain in Uttarakhand. This gave her the confidence to climb Everest.
