WhatsApp Tricks: Now no friend or family member will be able to read your message, just turn on this WhatsApp feature
If you frequently share your phone with friends or family members, you're often worried that someone might read your messages. Sometimes, someone might even read messages you don't want them to. In such situations, WhatsApp's "App Lock" (passcode/fingerprint lock) feature can be extremely helpful. You don't need to download any third-party tools; this security tool is already built into WhatsApp.
Once you turn this feature on, WhatsApp will prompt you for your phone's fingerprint, Face ID, or passcode whenever you open it. This will prevent anyone from viewing your messages without your permission.
Process to Enable Passcode / Fingerprint Lock in WhatsApp
Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and tap on the three dots visible in the top right.
From the menu, click on the Settings option.
Scroll down and go to the 'Privacy' option.
At the bottom, you will see the 'App Lock' (or Fingerprint Lock) option, click on it.
Turn on the 'Unlock with biometric' or passcode button and confirm with your fingerprint or PIN.
You can decide whether the app should lock immediately after closing or after 1 minute.
After this, your WhatsApp will be locked.
