WhatsApp has launched its dedicated app for Apple Watch, enabling users to send messages, voice notes, and react with emojis directly from their wrist, transforming the Apple Watch into a fully functional messaging device for WhatsApp.

How to Install:

• If your iPhone has Automatic App Install enabled, WhatsApp will install automatically on the Apple Watch after updating.

• Alternatively, open the App Store on your Apple Watch, search for WhatsApp, and tap Install.

• You can also install it via the Watch app on your iPhone by navigating to My Watch > Available Apps > WhatsApp > Install.

Requirements:

• Apple Watch Series 4 or later running watchOS 10 or newer

• iPhone running iOS 17 or newer with the latest WhatsApp update

Notification Setup:

• On iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications > WhatsApp and enable Allow Notifications.

• In the Watch app, under Notifications, enable Mirror iPhone alerts from WhatsApp to receive instant alerts on your watch.

Features:

• Read and reply to messages using voice dictation, Scribble, or emoji reactions

• Send voice notes with the watch’s microphone

• View photos, stickers, and message previews

• Receive and reject WhatsApp call notifications directly from the watch

Currently, some features like viewing older messages, video calls, status updates, and file sharing are not available on the watch version.
