WhatsApp New Update: WhatsApp has changed the way you send photos and videos! A new feature is now available, see how to use it

WhatsApp has rolled out a great update. Sending photos, videos, or files while chatting is now much easier and faster. You don't have to leave the chat screen, so the conversation flow never stops.

New media attachment design

WhatsApp has made a major change to its media sharing approach. Now, when you tap the + icon, you'll see a new look. A 4x4 grid of recent photos and videos will appear below. This means you don't need to close a chat to open the gallery. The chat will remain in the background allowing you to quickly select and send a photo.

This new feature is currently rolling out to iOS users. These changes are visible in WhatsApp version 26.19.75. Beta testers and select users have already started receiving it. When you press the + button in a chat, a new media grid will appear at the bottom, with options like Documents, Location, and Camera.

What will be the benefit?

Previously, when you opened the gallery, the entire chat would disappear; making it more likely you'd miss the other person's message. But now, with this new update, you can easily share photos and videos while still chatting. This feature will be especially useful for those who chat or send photos frequently. It will save time and improve the experience.

This feature isn't available to all iPhone users yet. The company is currently beta testing it. It will soon be available to everyone via a stable update. If you don't see the new layout yet, don't worry; the update will arrive in the coming days.

WhatsApp's attempt to improve user experience

WhatsApp is constantly striving to make its app simpler and faster. This new media update is an important step in that direction. It will improve the experience for millions of iPhone users.

When will it be available?

The global rollout has begun. All iPhone users will soon receive this new feature. An update for the Android version is also expected.
