WhatsApp is shutting down these interesting features; if you were using them, then know...

There's important news for millions of WhatsApp users. WhatsApp is removing a feature that many users loved. However, many people weren't using this feature, so it's being removed. Following this decision by the company, users will no longer be able to create their own digital avatar and use it on their profiles. This change is being rolled out gradually, leaving many users unaware of it.

Ban on creating digital avatars
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp previously allowed users to create their own digital avatars. Users could customize their face, hairstyle, and clothing. This feature appeared alongside their profile photos and could be used as stickers. However, this feature is now being gradually removed from the app. The avatar option is disappearing from settings, chat info, and the keyboard. According to the report, many users are also receiving notifications that avatar editing will no longer be available. This clearly means that this feature will be completely removed in the coming days, and users will no longer be able to access it.

The feature will be removed gradually.
WhatsApp is not making this change all at once, but it is being rolled out in stages. This is why many users have not seen any change yet. According to WABetaInfo, for many users the avatar section has completely disappeared from the app. This change will reach all users in the coming weeks. However, the good news is that the avatar stickers that are already being used will not be removed immediately. The avatar feature will remain in the favorites or recents section of the chat for some time and users will be able to use it.

Why is this feature being removed?
WhatsApp has not officially stated the reason for removing this feature. However, the reason behind it is clear. This feature was not as popular as expected. Most users preferred to use profile photos, emojis and simple stickers. Therefore, removing less used features is considered a natural step for the company. Now WhatsApp is focusing on making its platform simpler and more useful. So that users get only those features which they need and which can improve the app experience.
