If you were planning to buy a Vivo smartphone, it may now cost you more. Vivo has increased the prices of several of its popular models, with hikes ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹4,000. According to reports and tipster updates, the revised prices came into effect from April 21 and are already visible on the company’s official website. This move aligns with a broader trend in the smartphone industry, where brands are adjusting prices due to rising component costs, currency fluctuations, and supply chain challenges.
Among the affected devices, the Vivo T5x has seen one of the biggest hikes. All its variants are now costlier by ₹4,000, with the 6GB/128GB version priced at ₹22,999, while the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants now cost ₹24,999 and ₹26,999, respectively. Similarly, the Vivo V70 Elite has also become more expensive, with the 8GB/256GB variant now priced at ₹55,999 and the 12GB/256GB version at ₹59,999.
The price of the Vivo V70 has also gone up by ₹4,000. The 8GB/256GB variant now costs ₹49,999, while the 12GB/256GB model is priced at ₹53,999. In the mid-range segment, the Vivo Y400 has seen a similar jump, with the 8GB/128GB variant now available at ₹28,999 and the 8GB/256GB variant at ₹31,999.
Other models like the Vivo Y51 Pro and Vivo Y31 5G have also become more expensive. The Y51 Pro now starts at ₹27,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the higher variant costs ₹30,999. Meanwhile, the Y31 5G now starts at ₹19,999 for the 4GB variant, with the 6GB version priced at ₹23,999.
Overall, this price revision could impact buyers who were planning to upgrade, especially in the mid-range segment where competition is already intense. If you’re considering a Vivo device, it might be worth comparing alternatives or waiting for festive discounts to offset the recent price hike.
