In a viral video, a young man is seen sleeping soundly on a sheet on the floor of his house. Gold jewelry is visible from his pocket. A man even takes it out of his pocket, but this does not disturb his sleep. According to news reports, the young man had entered a house in the Balapur area to steal. He was reportedly drunk. The incident occurred last Thursday.
According to reports, the family members were not home at the time. When he returned, he found the cupboard open and an unknown young man sleeping on the floor covered with a sheet. The caption of the video reads, "When awakened, the young man admitted he had stolen gold jewelry and two mobile phones, which he knew he had stolen. However, he could not remember when he had entered the house to commit the theft." The young man was subsequently handed over to the police.
According to police sources, the young man's name is Farkan. He is only 18 years old and a resident of the area. Police said a case has been registered based on the family's complaint. An investigation into the details of the incident is underway.
