Vodafone Idea (Vi) has revised its ₹429 prepaid plan, offering more data but for a shorter period. While the price remains the same, the plan’s validity has been reduced, and the daily cost has increased. Here’s a detailed look at the changes.
Previous Benefits of Vi ₹429 Plan
Earlier, the plan offered 3GB of high-speed data, 600 SMS, and unlimited voice calls. The plan came with a validity of 84 days, which meant a daily cost of approximately ₹5.11.
Updated Benefits
The revised plan now provides 5GB of high-speed data instead of 3GB, keeping SMS (600) and unlimited calls unchanged. However, the validity has been reduced from 84 days to 65 days, effectively raising the daily cost to ₹6.60.
Circle Affected
According to TelecomTalk, this update applies to Vi users in the Rajasthan circle.
Implications
This revision benefits users looking for more data in a shorter period, but those preferring longer validity will find themselves recharging sooner or paying more for extended plans. Essentially, Vi has traded longer validity for additional data, increasing the daily cost for subscribers.
