The Indian bullion market has seen its biggest ever drop in gold prices. Gold prices had been falling steadily for the past few days, with a slight increase on Tuesday. However, as soon as the bullion market opened today, gold prices fell sharply. Gold prices have fallen by more than 2,000 rupees per tola. This has brought relief to those buying gold during the festive season.

The price of 24-carat gold fell by a massive ₹2,070 to ₹1,52,020, while the price of 22-carat gold fell by ₹1,900 per tola to ₹1,39,350.

Today in Delhi, the rate of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,41,390 per 10 grams, the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,54,230 per 10 grams and the rate of 18 carat gold is Rs 1,15,710 per 10 grams.

Today in Chennai city, the rate of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,41,740 per 10 grams, the rate of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,54,630 per 10 grams and the rate of 18 carat gold is Rs 1,19,440 per 10 grams.
