Silence unknown callers
By silencing unknown callers, you can automatically silence spam and scam calls from numbers that aren't saved in the user's contacts. These won't appear on your phone screen, but silent calls still appear in the Calls tab and notifications.

Context Cards
Context cards give you more information in chats and groups, such as whether a number is saved, whether groups are shared, whether the account is newly created, or whether it's registered abroad.

Screenshare warning
Scammers often pressure people into sharing their screens during video calls to steal sensitive data. WhatsApp now issues a screenshare warning when users try to share their screens with unknown contacts, alerting them to potential risks.

Device Linking Alerts
Scammers can trick people into linking their WhatsApp account to another device. The new Device Linking Alert flags suspicious requests, shows their origin, and warns users before proceeding.

Two-Step Verification
Finally, two-step verification requires a six-digit PIN when resetting or verifying an account, preventing unauthorized access and account takeover.
