Renu, a resident of Haldwani, has become a topic of discussion on social media due to her long hair. The woman's hair is 271.50 centimeters long, or 8 feet 10 inches. Taking note of her long hair, Guinness World Records officially recognized her. Sharing her joy over this achievement, Renu shared with users how she has been caring for her long hair over the years.

Renu explained that she has been growing her hair since 2015 and hasn't cut it since. In Indian culture, long hair is considered a symbol of beauty and tradition. This was her biggest inspiration.

I haven't cut my hair since 2015," Renu told Guinness World Records. Maintaining such long hair is no easy task. Renu spends several hours every day caring for her hair. To maintain her hair in her daily life, she usually wears long braids. In photos released by Guinness, her thick black hair is seen scattered on the floor, hanging off the edge of her bed, and wrapped around her when she sits.
