In a recent short video shared on social media, Nadella revealed the three Copilot AI features he uses daily and called them “as revolutionary as the touchscreen.” These features — Voice-First Copilot, Mico (Socratic Tutor), and AI Planner — are transforming the way people interact with computers and manage their daily lives.

Voice-First Copilot on Windows: A New Voice-Powered Experience

According to Nadella, the new Voice-First Copilot represents the most significant leap in computing since the introduction of the touchscreen. He described it as the new “mouse” — only this time, everything operates through voice commands. Nadella shared that he often uses it while reading documents or writing emails to instantly summon Copilot, ask questions, or retrieve information. This voice-powered feature allows for quick interactions and instant responses, significantly simplifying multitasking and productivity.

Mico – Copilot’s Socratic Tutor

The second feature Nadella highlighted is Mico, a Socratic-style AI tutor designed to make learning more engaging. Unlike a traditional search engine, Mico teaches through dialogue and exploration. Nadella said that he and his daughter used Mico to learn about Egyptian mythology, describing how it not only provided accurate information but also explained the concepts clearly. He emphasized that this feature makes AI an interactive educational partner, enhancing curiosity and understanding in a fun and conversational way.

AI Planner – The Digital Assistant for a Balanced Life

Nadella’s third favorite tool is the AI Planner, a feature that acts as both a digital assistant and a mental load manager. It helps users organize their schedules, manage tasks, and plan their routines efficiently.
