Satluj Row: Pirated copies of "Satluj" have surfaced online following Diljit Dosanjh's appeal to share downloaded copies. ZEE5 has urged viewers not to encourage piracy.
Satluj Row: Just two days after its release on ZEE5, the film "Satluj," starring Diljit Dosanjh as Jaswant Singh Khalra, was removed. Following this, the actor appealed to people to share downloaded copies of the film so that it could reach as many people as possible. Although the film is no longer available in India, pirated versions of it are still circulating, and ZEE5 has urged people to stop sharing these downloaded files.
On Monday, July 6, ZEE5 issued another statement after pirated copies of "Satluj" began circulating on social media platforms. On its social media accounts, the OTT platform said, "We hope and are doing everything possible to please not encourage piracy. We are committed to exploring every possible avenue to bring "Satluj" back to you."
ZEE5 also shared a poster with the message, " We are doing our part to bring back Sutlej . Please contribute and don't support piracy," highlighting that once content is released, it is impossible to ban or delete it.

The actor further said, "So now I feel very relieved that the film has finally reached you. Now it is your film. Now it cannot be stopped. Now it is the people's film. You cannot stop it now. I think those who think that once something is online it can just be deleted, they are either innocent or they are ignorant."
Diljit asked those who have downloaded the film to share it with as many people as possible and said, "Now you can share it among yourselves. It's your film. But I am happy and relieved that the film has finally reached the audience. Many people have already downloaded it. Once something is online, it is never deleted. I saw a video from Rajasthan where people are watching the film. I was very happy. Please show it to your friends and everyone around you."
Directed by Honey Trehan and starring Diljit Dosanjh , "Sutlej" is inspired by the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. The film, originally titled "Punjab '95," was delayed for nearly four years due to certification issues. After a long battle to get clearance from the CBFC, it finally premiered on ZEE5; Diljit had previously stated that the version released on the platform is unedited. The film is produced by RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures and stars Diljit alongside Arjun Rampal, Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Vicky, and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan.
