Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro Tipped to Get Head Gestures, Camera Control and Find My Phone Feature

Samsung’s upcoming premium true-wireless earbuds, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, are generating significant buzz ahead of their expected launch. According to recent leaks, the earbuds are set to go beyond audio, evolving into a smart control hub with gesture-based commands, camera controls, and a new Find My Phone shortcut.

The earbuds are expected to debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked, scheduled for February 25.

Answer Calls With a Nod

One of the standout features reported is head gesture support. Leaks suggest users will be able to accept or reject calls simply by nodding their head—eliminating the need to touch the phone or earbuds. The same gesture is also expected to work with Bixby, allowing users to respond to yes-or-no prompts hands-free.

This feature is likely to be particularly useful when users are driving, exercising, or multitasking. Reports also indicate that Samsung may include an in-app tutorial to help users learn gesture controls.

Gesture Control for Notifications and Alarms

Beyond calls, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are said to support gesture-based dismissal of notifications. A simple head shake could stop notifications from being read aloud. Alarms, timers, calendar alerts, and reminders may also be silenced using similar gestures, pushing the earbuds closer to a full-fledged smart assistant experience.

Samsung appears to be positioning the Buds 4 Pro as a deeply integrated wearable within its ecosystem rather than just an audio accessory.

Camera and Video Controls From the Earbuds

Another major upgrade tipped in leaks is a camera remote feature. A pinch-and-hold gesture on the earbud stem could allow users to take photos or start video recording remotely. This would be especially useful for tripod photography, group shots, or recording videos using Galaxy Z series in Flex Mode.

The feature could remove the need to rely on a phone screen or smartwatch, making it appealing for content creators and casual users alike.

Find My Phone Shortcut and Design Details

Leaks also suggest a new Find My Phone shortcut built into the charging case. By pressing the pairing button on the case twice, users may be able to ring their connected phone—making it easier to locate if misplaced.

Design-wise, the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro cases are expected to feature a clean, minimal look, with a USB Type-C port and a pairing button on the back. Renders indicate that the case will not include a built-in speaker.

With Samsung yet to officially confirm these features, all eyes are now on the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are expected to be formally unveiled.
