Redmi Note 15 5G Launched Under ₹20,000 in India, Comes with 108MP Camera

Redmi has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 5G, in India at an aggressive price point. The phone offers a premium AMOLED display, a powerful Snapdragon processor, and a 108MP camera, making it one of the strongest options in the sub-₹20,000 segment.
Price and availability in India
The Redmi Note 15 5G is priced at ₹19,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs ₹21,999. These prices include a ₹3,000 bank discount. Additional offers are available on Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI cards.
Redmi is also bundling free subscriptions to YouTube Premium, Spotify Premium, and Google One with the smartphone.
Display and software experience
The smartphone features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, offering improved durability.
On the software front, the device runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Redmi has promised four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates, which is rare in this price segment.
Performance and build quality
The Redmi Note 15 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, with support for microSD card expansion.
For security and durability, the phone carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock for quick authentication.
Camera and battery details
In the camera department, the Redmi Note 15 5G sports a 108MP primary rear camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 20MP front camera. The rear camera setup supports 4K video recording.
The phone packs a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging along with 18W reverse charging, ensuring long battery life and quick top-ups.
