Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has announced recruitment for the vacant Security Guard positions. The online application process began today, August 25, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until September 14, 2026. After completing the application, candidates will be able to print their submitted forms until September 29, 2026.

Who can apply?

Candidates applying for these posts should be ex-servicemen or ex-fire warriors of Army, Navy or Air Force.

Age wise, applicants must be between 18 to 26 years of age as on August 1, 2026.

For ex-servicemen, the upper age limit will be relaxed as per established rules. Candidates will receive the benefit of service time after the age of 26, plus an additional three years of age. However, the maximum age limit should not exceed 45 years.

Similarly, ex-fire warriors will get age relaxation based on service period of more than 21 years, along with an additional relaxation of three years as per the recruitment rules.

Candidates must have passed the 10th grade or its equivalent. Applicants who have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification are not eligible for this recruitment.

Another important condition is that the candidates must be able to speak, read and write Tamil.

On the homepage, click "Click here for New Registration."
Enter the required details and complete the registration process.
Fill in the remaining information requested in the application form.
Upload the required photo and signature.
Check the details carefully and submit the application.
After submitting, take a printout of the completed application form and keep it safe for future reference. There is no application fee.

Candidates should note that there is no application fee for this recruitment. Eligible applicants can submit the form completely free of charge.
