  • Refined flour – 90 grams

  • Baking powder – ⅔ tablespoon

  • Baking soda – ⅔ tablespoon

  • Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon

  • Butter – 90 grams

  • Powdered sugar – 90 grams

  • Banana – 1 (ripe)

  • Curd – 75 grams

  • Red food colour – as needed


How to Make Red Velvet Cake

  1. In a bowl, add butter and powdered sugar. Whisk well until creamy.

  2. Add sliced banana to the mixture and blend until smooth and lump-free.

  3. Mix in curd and whisk again to form a creamy batter.

  4. Add a little red food colour and mix gently until the batter turns red. Avoid adding too much colour.
