Siwan News: After Chhapra, Army Jawan Rambabu Singh, a resident of Siwan, Bihar, was martyred for the country on Monday (May 12, 2025). He was shot on Monday due to ceasefire violation by Pakistan. According to the family members, he was shot in the afternoon and then the news came that he was martyred for the country. After this news, there was silence in Rambabu Singh's village.

Martyr soldier Rambabu Singh was a resident of Vasilpur village of Badharia block of Siwan. His father late Ramvichar Singh was the deputy head of Hariharpur Panchayat. One of Rambabu Singh's brothers Akhilesh Singh is working as a loco pilot in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.

The wife has not been informed about the martyrdom yet

Martyr soldier Rambabu Singh's father-in-law Subhash Chandra Sharma said that his son-in-law had joined duty in Jammu and Kashmir on April 10. His father-in-law said that both he and his daughter were in Dhanbad. Yesterday (Monday) at around 1.30 pm, a call came from the Army Headquarters that the son-in-law had been shot. After this, the information was received that he had been martyred. Wife Anjali Singh has still not been informed about her husband's martyrdom.

Martyr Rambabu Singh's father-in-law told that his son-in-law was posted in Jodhpur. However, he was stopped during the tension between India and Pakistan. Yesterday (May 12, 2025) at around 10 in the morning, Rambabu Singh had a conversation with his wife Anjali. Till that time, he was fine.

They got married four months ago

It is said that martyr soldier Ram Babu Singh got married about four months ago. The people of the village are waiting for his body to arrive. The body may arrive by evening or tomorrow on Wednesday. The family members of the martyr soldier said that Ram Babu was full of patriotic spirit since childhood. He was serving the country by joining the army. After the incident, the eyes of the people of the village are moist. People are also feeling proud.
