A complaint filed by a city-based event company alleged that Ameesha Patel had charged ₹1.1 million (1.1 million rupees) to perform at a wedding in Moradabad in 2017. Despite receiving the fee, Ameesha Patel did not attend the ceremony.

In fact, Moradabad-based event manager Pawan Verma, through his advocate Pankaj Sharma, filed a complaint in the Moradabad court in 2017. Verma, who runs the event company, alleged that Ameesha Patel had charged him ₹1.1 million (1.1 million rupees) to perform at a wedding in Moradabad in 2017.

Ameesha returned to Mumbai from Delhi and did not perform.

It is alleged that after receiving her fee, Ameesha traveled from Mumbai to Delhi, but upon arriving in Delhi, she demanded another two lakh rupees in cash, which the event company operator refused to fulfill. It is alleged that Ameesha then returned to Mumbai from Delhi and did not attend the Moradabad event. Disturbed by this incident, Pawan Verma filed a case against Ameesha Patel and her team in the Moradabad court.

Ameesha Patel had come to Moradabad two years ago and got herself bailed out.

A case is pending against the actress in the Moradabad court under sections 120-B, 406, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Nearly two years ago, Ameesha Patel returned to Moradabad and secured bail. However, it is alleged that she did not comply with the bail conditions thereafter. The court has again issued a non-bailable warrant against her. Advocate Pankaj Sharma says that while issuing the non-bailable warrant against Ameesha Patel, the court has summoned her on March 27th.

The actor has been granted bail till March 18. As per the previous order of the court, the actor has paid Rs 1.5 crore. Let us inform you that in 2010, Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from a company named 'Murli Projects Private Limited' to make his directorial film 'Aata-Pata Lapata', in return of which he had to repay Rs 8 crore.
