Rajasthan Weather Update: Rain is likely in these parts of the state, heat wave alert issued for seven districts

Amidst the scorching heat, there's good news for the people of Rajasthan. The news is that the weather will see a major change today. The effects of the new western disturbance active in the state began to be felt this morning. The weather in Kota has already changed early this morning.
The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and isolated thunderstorms, along with light rain and winds, in the northwestern and northern regions this afternoon. This could cause a drop in temperatures today. However, the state will begin experiencing intense heat again tomorrow.
From tomorrow, temperatures are expected to rise by two to three degrees again, with heatwaves expected in some parts of the state, and severe heatwaves in some places. On Friday, 25 cities in the state recorded temperatures above 40 degrees, and four cities recorded temperatures above 44 degrees. Chittorgarh remained hot on Friday, with a temperature of 44.2 degrees.

Yellow alert of heat wave has been issued by the Meteorological Department for today in Chittorgarh, Kota, Pratapgarh, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Phalodi and Sriganganagar of the state. Thus, people should get ready to face the havoc of severe heat in the coming days. Kota city was in the grip of severe heat and heat wave on Friday. The maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 43.3 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature dropped by one degree to 29.1 degree Celsius.
