You can get it made on your phone in not one but two ways. You can go to the ECI's web portal or use the Voter Helpline App. Let's understand each step of getting a PVC Voter ID card using both methods.

This is how PVC voter ID card will be made through web portal

1. If you want to make PVC Voter ID card through web portal , then first go to the official website of ECI.
2. Now click on Sign Up and create an account by entering your mobile number and EPCI number and log in.
3. After logging in, the option of Correction of Entries / Shifting of Residence will appear, click on Fill Form 8 there.
4. You will then be asked whether you want to apply for yourself or a family member. Select "Self" here, enter your voter ID number, and click "Submit."
5. After this, 4 options will appear in front of you. You will have to select the third option 'Issue of Replacement EPIC without correction' and then click on OK.
6. After this, when asked the reason for changing the card, select Lost or Destroyed/Mutilated from the options given there.
7. Finally, enter the captcha code to preview your form and click on the submit button.
8. After this you will also get a reference number, with the help of which you can check the status of your card.

How to get your PVC voter card made using the Voter Helpline app

1. You can get a PVC voter card made by downloading the Voter Helpline app from Play Store or App Store .
2. For this, first download the app and tap on the Voter Registration button given on the home screen.
3. After this click on the option of Correction of Entries (Form 8).
4. Now click on Let's Start and enter your phone number and login through OTP.
5. After this enter your voter ID card number.
6. Now select Issue of Replacement EPIC without correction from the options appearing.
7. Select the reason for card replacement and confirm the declaration.
8. After checking all the information, click on confirm.
9. Note down your reference ID, with the help of which you will be able to check the status of your PVC card.

How much time and fees will it take?

If you are applying for a PVC card by filling out Form 8 because your old card has been torn or damaged, the Election Commission will not charge you for the card. This service is completely free.

1. Apart from this, the card reaches your home free of cost through speed post.
2. If you are getting a lost PVC card replaced without the card, you may be asked to pay a fee of Rs 25 to 30 and a copy of NC/FIR in certain cases.
3. It may take 15-30 days for this card to reach your home.
