LPG Price Today: Inflation shock ahead of the festive season! LPG cylinder prices rise significantly, find out the new rates in your city

Navratri, just days after Ganesh Chaturthi, has arrived, and just before the festive season, people have received a major shock. Today, October 1st, there has been a significant increase in the price of commercial cylinders. Oil companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders city-by-city. However, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders.
Cylinders have also become more expensive in Mumbai and Delhi.
In Mumbai, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder has increased by ₹63. The cylinder, which was priced at ₹2,701 in September, now costs ₹2,767. However, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Mumbai is only ₹941.50. In Chennai, the price of a commercial cylinder has increased from ₹2,961.50 to ₹2,983. Similarly, the price of a domestic cylinder is ₹957.50. In Ahmedabad, a 19 kg commercial cylinder now costs ₹2,831.50, while a domestic cylinder costs ₹949. In Kanyakumari, the price of a commercial cylinder has increased to ₹3,046, while the price of a domestic cylinder here is ₹1,026. In the capital, Delhi, a 19 kg commercial cylinder was available for ₹2,747.50 in September. Now, its price has increased by ₹62.50, and today's price is ₹2,810. This increase will have a direct impact on hotels, restaurants, dhabas and commercial places.
Leh has the highest price for
a commercial LPG cylinder. The price of a 19 kg cylinder has risen from ₹3,385.50 to ₹3,450, a rise of ₹64.50. The price of a domestic cylinder in Leh is ₹1,179.
Rates also increased in Patna, Lucknow and Bhopal.
Commercial cylinder has become costlier by Rs 71.50 in Patna. The cylinder which was priced at Rs 3,029 in September has now become costlier by Rs 3,100.50. In Bhopal, it has increased from Rs 2,755.50 to Rs 2,815 and in Lucknow, it has increased from Rs 2,870 to Rs 2,932.50. At the same time, there has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder. Therefore, although domestic customers have got relief for the time being, but due to the increase in the price of commercial cylinder, the expenses of hotels and food businesses are likely to increase.
