An emergency landing was made on an IndiGo flight going from Delhi to Leh. After a technical fault developed in the plane, the plane was brought back to Delhi on the information of the pilot. The emergency landing of the plane caused panic among the passengers. Later, an alternate plane was arranged for the passengers. On the other hand, SpiceJet flight SG 2696 going from Hyderabad to Tirupati landed back at Hyderabad airport after a technical fault developed in it.

IndiGo airline officials said that IndiGo flight 6E 2006 flying from Delhi to Leh developed a technical fault. The plane had to return to Delhi due to operational restrictions to land in Leh. The pilot returned to Delhi. Necessary maintenance of the plane is being done before resuming operations. Meanwhile, an alternate plane has been arranged to take the passengers to Leh.

The flight returned to Hyderabad.
