Fire Boltt, a well-known Indian brand in the smart wearable and consumer electronics market, appears to be preparing for its entry into the smartphone business. According to recent leaks, the company is expected to launch its first handset under a new smartphone lineup branded as Boltt.
Although Fire Boltt has not officially announced the device or confirmed its specifications, fresh reports and benchmark listings have revealed several expected details about the upcoming smartphone. The device is reportedly set to launch as the Boltt Evo 4G, targeting buyers looking for an affordable Android smartphone.
Boltt Evo 4G Name Surfaces Online
A recent leak shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter) suggests that Fire Boltt's debut smartphone will carry the Boltt Evo 4G branding.
As the name suggests, the device is expected to support 4G connectivity instead of 5G. This indicates that Fire Boltt is likely focusing on the entry-level smartphone segment, where affordability remains a key factor for many consumers.
Geekbench Listing Reveals Key Hardware
The upcoming smartphone has also reportedly appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, providing an early look at some of its hardware specifications.
According to the benchmark listing, the motherboard is identified by the codename ums9230_6h10. The processor reportedly runs at a base clock speed of 1.61GHz, which has led industry observers to believe that the handset could be powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset.
Earlier leaks had suggested the phone might feature the Unisoc Tiger T615 (UMS9230E) processor. However, based on the Geekbench information, reports indicate that the device is more likely to use the newer Unisoc T7250 platform.
The exact processor will only be confirmed once Fire Boltt officially unveils the smartphone.
Android 16 May Come Out of the Box
One of the notable details from the benchmark listing is the software version.
The Boltt Evo 4G is expected to run Android 16 straight out of the box, making it one of the early budget smartphones to ship with Google's latest mobile operating system.
The listing also indicates that the tested variant includes 4GB RAM, though additional memory configurations could be introduced when the phone launches.
Built for the Budget Segment
With 4G connectivity and an entry-level Unisoc processor, the Boltt Evo 4G is expected to compete in the affordable smartphone category.
The company is likely to target first-time smartphone buyers, students, and users looking for a low-cost Android device with the latest software experience.
Pricing and complete specifications remain unknown at this stage.

The chipset family linked to the Boltt Evo 4G has been used in several affordable smartphones launched over the past year. Devices powered by similar Unisoc processors include:
