During the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha on Monday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh strongly presented the government's side. He said that after the terrorist attack in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam on April 22, India took decisive action and targeted the terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and POJK. He answered all the questions of the opposition in detail and expressed confidence in India's military strength and strategy.

'Now India does not remain silent, it eradicates terrorism from its roots'

The Defence Minister said, "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is no longer the country it once was. We no longer just send documents, we retaliate. India no longer tolerates terror, it responds to it and has the strength to root it out."

'Our air defence system foiled every attack'

Rajnath Singh said India's air defence system, anti-drone technology and electronic security systems completely foiled every attack by Pakistan. "Pakistan could not damage any of our targets and no vital military assets were hit. Our security system was so strong that no attack was successful," he said.

'Don't ask how many planes were shot down, ask how many enemies were killed'

The Defence Minister expressed displeasure over some questions of the opposition. He said, "Some members of the opposition are asking how many of our planes were shot down. I think this question does not properly represent the national sentiment. They did not ask how many enemies were killed by our soldiers."

'If you want to ask questions, then ask whether we destroyed the terrorists' hideouts?'

Rajnath Singh further said, "If there is really a question to be asked, it should be whether we destroyed the terrorist hideouts? And the answer to this is - yes. And were any of our soldiers harmed? The answer to this is also - no. All our soldiers are safe and this is a proof of India's strength."
