Bhavya Scheme: The central government has approved Rs 33,660 crore under the Bharat Industrial Development Scheme (BHAVYA), which aims to develop world-class 'plug-and-play' industrial parks in the country.

Bhavya Scheme: The government continues to introduce new schemes for the country's development. Now, the central government has launched a major scheme. The Bharat Industrial Development Scheme (Bhavya) has been approved for an expenditure of ₹33,660 crore. Its goal is to develop global-level industrial parks and advance production sectors under all circumstances. It also aims to remove barriers for investors from around the world and significantly accelerate production changes.

Speaking to the media, Union Minister Piyush Goyal released the terms of the grand scheme, stating that states are expected to create a conducive environment for industry and attract investment. In the first phase of the scheme, 20 parks will be launched within the next two months, with 30 more to follow soon.

Government's BHAVYA Scheme

BHAVYA is a central government initiative aimed at developing world-class "plug-and-play" industrial parks in the country. Under this scheme, companies are provided with ready-to-use factories and infrastructure, enabling them to launch their businesses without any obstacles or delays. This scheme is designed to align with "Make in India," "PM Gati Shakti," and the government's vision of making India a major manufacturing hub in the world.

Vision of BHAVYA Scheme

The first vision aims to develop 100 world-class "plug-and-play" industrial parks across India. The second vision, to be implemented over a six-year period starting from 2026-27 , involves the completion of approximately 50 parks in the first phase. The third, most interesting aspect of the plan, is that it builds on the success of Industry Smart Cities under the National Industrial Corridor Development Program (NICDP) and aims to pioneer the next generation of industrial corridor models.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal also shared a post on Instagram, stating that just two months after the launch of the Bhavya Yojana, the Modi government today released the plan's full terms and conditions and invited applications from states and union territories to develop world-class industrial parks. Furthermore, these parks, equipped with simple and accessible infrastructure, will promote industrial development, attract investment, create employment opportunities, and improve the ease of doing business.
