Amid the Strait of Hormuz crisis, significant news is emerging. According to media reports, the Indian government has taken a significant decision. The Modi government has taken a strict action to prevent diesel hoarding. The central government has taken significant steps to maintain the availability of petroleum products and curb hoarding.
Limit fixed:
If the news is to be believed, the government has fixed the limit of diesel sale. Now a person will not be able to get more than 200 liters of diesel. Actually, today i.e. Friday, the government has issued an order to limit the sale of high speed diesel at retail petrol pumps. According to the new rule, now only a maximum of 200 liters of diesel can be sold to any customer in a day. This means that now a customer will get only a maximum of 200 liters of diesel per day.
Why was this decision taken?
The government says the decision was taken to prevent diesel hoarding, unnecessary storage, and potential black marketing. This step was taken in light of concerns about excess fuel purchases and stockpiling in some areas in recent days.
