The CRPF has begun recruiting 521 head constable and constable positions. Interested and eligible candidates can fill their applications online through the official portal, rect.crpf.gov.in. This recruitment process will fill vacant positions within the organization.

The registration process will begin on October 12 and end on November 11, 2026. The correction window will open on November 12 and close on November 14, 2026. Read below for eligibility, selection process, and other details.

Eligibility Criteria
Head Constable: 10+2 or equivalent from a Board/University recognized by the Central or State Government or equivalent Army qualification in case of Ex-Army Personnel.

Constable: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board.

The eligibility criteria for both positions are 18 to 23 years of age as of August 1, 2026. Candidates must be born no earlier than January 2, 2003, and no later than January 1, 2008. The age cut-off date for determining age is August 1, 2026.

Selection Process
Sportspersons who have participated or won medals in the competitions mentioned in Para-6(iii) during the period from 30/09/2024 to 30/09/2026 will be eligible for recruitment to the post of Head Constable/GD and Constable/GD (Sportsperson) in CRPF. Candidates whose online applications are found to be in order will be issued online admit cards to appear in the recruitment process i.e. Identity Verification, Testimonials/Document Verification, Physical Standard Test (PST), Sports Trial Test and Detailed Medical Examination/Review Medical Examination.

The application fee
for the Sports Quota Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD) recruitment is ₹100 for UR, OBC, and EWS male candidates. There is no fee for female applicants, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen categories.

Click on the CRPF Recruitment through Sports Quota 2026 link on the home page.
A new page will open where candidates will be asked to enter their registration details.
Click Submit and fill out the application form.
Pay the application fee.
Click Submit and download the confirmation page.
Keep a hard copy for future reference.
