State-run telecom company BSNL has rolled out a new offer for its prepaid customers, something that rivals Jio, Airtel, and Vi are not providing at the moment. The company is giving users a 2% instant discount on select recharge plans.

Discount Available on 3 Plans

The offer is applicable only on BSNL’s ₹199, ₹485, and ₹1999 prepaid plans.

• On the ₹199 plan, you save around ₹3.8

• On the ₹485 plan, the savings are about ₹9.6

• On the ₹1999 plan, you save ₹38

While the discount may seem modest, it’s still direct savings for users planning to recharge.

Offer Validity

• The scheme started on 15 September 2025

• It will run till 15 October 2025

• To avail the benefit, customers must recharge through BSNL’s official website or Selfcare app

BSNL confirmed this in an official post on X (Twitter), urging users to grab the limited-time discount.

Jio’s Alternative Offer

Though Jio doesn’t provide discounts on recharge, its ₹1028 plan comes with a ₹50 cashback benefit. This plan includes 2GB/day data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS/day for 84 days.
