Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy film Bhooth Bangla is now gearing up for its OTT release after a successful theatrical run. The film, which hit cinemas on April 17, 2026, will stream on Netflix starting June 12, 2026.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film stars Akshay Kumar alongside Vamika Gabbi in lead roles. It reportedly performed well at the box office, earning around ₹270 crore worldwide, including approximately ₹181.75 crore in India.

While the film received mixed reviews from critics, it was widely appreciated by audiences, especially fans of the horror-comedy genre. Its blend of humor and supernatural elements helped it emerge as a commercial success.

The film also features a strong supporting cast including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar, and Rajesh Sharma.

With a reported budget of ₹120–150 crore, Bhooth Bangla has turned out to be one of Akshay Kumar’s notable recent successes, marking a positive turnaround after several underperforming films in recent years.
