Renowned hairstylist Javed Habib is facing serious legal trouble in Sambhal. He is accused of defrauding people of crores of rupees in the name of franchises and training centers. More than 20 FIRs have been filed so far, and fraud totaling over ₹7 crore has been uncovered from approximately 150 victims.
Shocking news has emerged from Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh. Nationally renowned hair stylist Javed Habib now appears to be facing legal trouble. More than 20 FIRs have been filed against him and his team at the Raisatti police station in Sambhal. It is alleged that Habib collected crores of rupees from people under the guise of opening franchises and running training centers, but neither did the work begin nor did he return the money. So far, more than 150 people have been defrauded of approximately ₹7 crore.
Sambhal Superintendent of Police (SP) Krishna Vishnoi stated that continuous action is being taken against crime and criminals. A case of aggravated fraud has been filed against Javed Habib, his wife, son, and a man named Saifullah. The SP added that more than 35 victims have filed complaints so far, and this number is steadily increasing.
Investigation against Javed Habib
The number of cases registered at the Raisatti police station is also increasing. Police have launched an investigation against Javed Habib. They urge those who have been defrauded to come forward and file a complaint. They also stated that strict action will be taken against the accused under Section 107 of the IPC.
Accused of cheating worth crores of rupees
People say they trusted and paid lakhs of rupees to open their own salon or training center under the Javed Habib brand. However, neither did the franchise launch, nor did they receive their money back. Now they feel cheated. This entire incident has created a stir in Sambhal. It is likely that this fraud case will not be limited to Sambhal alone; complaints may emerge from other parts of the country as well.
