A puzzling case has surfaced in the Sadar police station area of Muzaffarpur, where a woman from Gobarsahi Srinagar Colony has gone missing under suspicious circumstances. She allegedly left behind her six-year-old daughter, who was found alone at home, crying and distressed. The incident has created concern and speculation in the neighborhood.
According to the husband, who is originally from the Motipur area, he married the woman in 2019. The family had been living in a rented house with their young daughter. He reported that on the night of March 26, his wife suddenly disappeared. Despite searching extensively, he could not find her. Upon checking the cupboards, he discovered that gold and silver jewelry worth around ₹20 lakh was also missing.
Allegations of Conspiracy
The husband has filed an FIR at the local police station, accusing his sister-in-law, a friend, and a man named Ankur Bohra of being involved. He suspects that his wife may have been influenced or lured away as part of a planned conspiracy.
Meanwhile, the young daughter remains with her father and is reportedly inconsolable, repeatedly asking for her mother.
WhatsApp Activity Raises Questions
One of the most unusual aspects of the case is the woman’s phone activity. Although her mobile phone is switched off, her WhatsApp account is still active. This has raised suspicions of possible third-party involvement or manipulation. Police are now working with technical teams to trace the activity and determine who is operating the account.
Police Investigation Underway
Police officials have confirmed that a case has been registered based on the disappearance and alleged theft. A special team has been formed to track the woman and the suspects using mobile surveillance and location tracking.
