It is said that Meena Kumari and her husband were traveling for the shooting of Kamal Amrohi's film. While passing through the Shivpuri area of ​​Madhya Pradesh, their car ran out of petrol. They decided to stay overnight. Suddenly, some armed men arrived and surrounded them. It is said that they had probably arrived with the intention of looting, but when they learned that Meena Kumari was in the car, everyone was astonished. The robbers suddenly dropped their weapons and treated her with respect. They even asked her to accompany them and arranged for her accommodation.
