The company says that over one billion people worldwide have created passkeys for their WhatsApp accounts. If a user is using both Android and iPhone devices, then that user can create more than one passkey for their account. The process of creating a passkey is very simple. For this, you have to go to WhatsApp settings and click on Account. After that, you have to select the passkey option. After this, you can create a passkey.

You can create a password instead of a PIN.
WhatsApp has also made its two-step verification stronger than before. Until now, users were given the option to set a 6-digit PIN for extra security. However, this has also been changed with the new update. Now users will be able to create a password instead of a PIN. This can also include letters, numbers and special characters. Since the password is longer and more difficult, someone else will not be able to easily guess this password.

WhatsApp will now provide information about unknown calls
to Android users. If a user receives a call from a number that is not in their contact list, WhatsApp will show additional information about the call. This includes whether the caller is from another country and whether the person is in any groups with the user. This will help users guess who the person might be and decide whether to accept the call or not.
