Today, the capital Jaipur also received rain in the morning, on Friday night, heavy rain was also seen in Sikar. Due to which the weather has become cool. However, the outbreak of heat wave is also being seen in many districts. Many districts of western Rajasthan are in the grip of heat wave.

The temperature is causing trouble,
the highest temperature of 44.2 degrees was recorded in Jaisalmer. Rains with strong winds occurred at many places including Sikar, Karauli. In the capital Jaipur too, clouds played hide and seek with the sun throughout the day. Due to activation of a new western disturbance, thunder, storm and rain activities are likely to continue in the northern parts of the state from today itself. Today, there is a possibility of strong thunder, strong storm and moderate to heavy rain at some places in Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer and some parts of Jodhpur division. The weather department said that this period of storm and rain will continue till June 16.

Alert in these districts:
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for thunderstorm and rain in Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Deeg, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Khairthal-Tijara, Kotputli-Behror, Sawaimadhopur, Sikar, Tonk, Bikaner, Churu, Didwana-Kuchaman, Hanumangarh, Nagaur and Sriganganar today. Along with this, a yellow alert for thunderstorm and rain has been issued in Beawar, Bhilwara, Bundi, Kota, Balotra, Jodhpur and Pali. On the other hand, a yellow alert for heatwave has also been issued for Jaisalmer and Phalodi.
